My Teacher Ate My Homework

My teacher ate my homework.
Iâ??m aware itâ??s rather odd.
She sniffed at it and smiled.
With a approving sort of nod.

She took a little nibble--
Itâ??s unusual, but true--
Then had a somewhat larger bite,
And gave a thoughtful chew.

I think she must have liked it,
For she really went to town.
She gobbled it up,
And she wolfed the whole thing down.

She licked off all her finger,
Gave a burp and said, â??You pass.â??
I guess thatâ??s how they grade
You when you take a cooking class.
