I Need You Here

by Odette Pascal   Jun 2, 2006

You are so far away,
I want you so near.
Can't you come and stay,
and wipe away my fears.

I want you so much,
I don't know how I cope.
Maybe we could meet for lunch,
but what I want is to elope.

You don't see we're meant to be,
forever, together, arm in arm.
You are my true destiny,
so why do you cause me so much harm.

I dream about you day and night,
hoping, wishing you were here with me.
I hope and try with all my might,
to make you realize it's meant to be.

But you still don't see,
what can I do?
It's our destiny,
so let it come true.
