In the Night

by Mary Jane   Jun 3, 2006

I wait in my dreams.
For that feeling of
your arms around me.
That feeling of bliss.

There is no place,
that I'd rather be.
Than in our palace
by the seas of tranquility.

Here we can walk,
on the white sands.
Hold hands under
the light of the stars.

The winds of Aeolus,
swirl and rise.
In our palace by
the sea.

To swirl with passion,
in the fires of love.
To dance in the darkness,
in the night.

Dear Aphrodite,
give us a voice
so that we may sing.
The life of love.

Twas all a dream,
yesterday, but not
a dream, of our souls.
In our lives by the sea.

Not for you and
not for me.
No, it was no dream.
Twas a vision.

Of the music of
Orpheus, that moves
the mountains, moves
the souls of you and
of I.

In the dreams of the night
