I'll be waiting

by Mathias   Jun 4, 2006

When echoes are bouncing
in the corridors of your life
When you are longing
to get away from the dreams full of fright
When you feel your face turn away
from everyone in this world
Remember that you can always come and stay
in the house of the Untamed Bluebird
And there, I'll always be waiting
I will always be ready to listen
And when you go away I'll stand waving
And wait for my turn to be participating
in your life for a while again
To be another part of your life
than just what they sang
You know, the song about "having strife"
I will always have time for you
In the house you've been before
Bring your friends, I'll listen to them to
I will teach them that life is not a bore
I know that knowing you will always be a trial
And it's hard to look into your eyes
Knowing you'll only stay a while
But come anyway, I won't shower you with lies
And I will listen to your stories forever, it seems
Stories about places you have been
Dark, frightening places in your dreams
Why?
Cause yours are the sweetest skies I've ever seen
