Ex's

by Bethan   Jun 4, 2006

There's always the ex ,
that insists on hanging around,
Hanging on to something ,
in which love cannot be found,

They had something so good,
which they just threw away,
Then they want it back,
when things don't go their way,

They start doing crazy things,
and acting absurd,
trying to renew old feelings,
and trying to be heard,

but it's only when they lose,
the one good thing they had,
that they realise the truth,
and try to get them back,

But what they had has gone forever,
so stop trying to pretend,
that all you want from them,
Is just to be their friend,

All these ex g/f do,
is create drama and stupidness,
cos they had someone great,
someone that they miss,

But it's their own god damn fault,
That they decided to play games,
Now their the ones trying,
trying to reclaim.

Someone that they lost,
Someone who is now free,
who doesn't need their lies,
who is happy finally,

These ex's just can't take it,
that they're no longer good enough,
Well you know what you tell them,
It's your loss so tough.

Very, very good, love. i'm suprised that it hasn't been voted higher. i would of thought this kind of poem is just up most people's allies. i like the way this poem flowed, all the while serving an enjoyable and unigue message, delivered in the greatest of ways. Brilliant!
