Broken No One

by Kyleene   Jun 5, 2006

You put your arms around me
Mesh our hands together
Tip my face upward
Allowing me to kiss you, feel your soft lips on mine
I feel myself melting
No longer something solid
I must be sleeping
Imagining I'm allowed to have you
I'm pliable like clay
Mold me to your will
Suddenly you move away
You led me on
Pretending you cared
But when the time came for me to ask you for your heart
You turned away
I no longer exist to you
I was just a tool
A piece in your game
My heart was the consequence
Now broken for good
I sit up in bed
Tears running shinny trails along my skin
It was all just a dream
Or so I try to convince myself
I see you with your back to me
No, it can't be true
But then I realize I'm a broken no one to you
