Secrets

by acidrain   Jun 7, 2006

Feelings of anger fill the room,
Tension between the two girls,
A certain sense of doom,
Hatred , beneath their curls.

She walks across the floor,
They glare sharply at each other.
She walks out the door,
Doesn't look back and moves in with her brother.

Three days later, he finds the papers in the mail,
He thinks of her, and hangs his head.
One more marriage he had to fail,
Without her, he feels dead.

She took the children away,
He says that it isn't fair.
She argues and gets her way,
All because of one affair.
