Confused

I wish I knew why
These feelings of mine exist
I have no reason to be so sad
How can these feelings be fixed?

No boy has ever broken my heart
No friend of mine has ever died
My family tries their best
Their arms are open wide

So what is wrong with me?
Am I in need of a friend?
One who truly cares
One on whom I can depend

If this gift is ever received
Will my heart again be whole?
Will these feelings then subside?
Then will I be in control
