Silly Girl

by Carly   Jun 9, 2006

Silly Girl
Why did you let him in?
And how could you not have known,
You'd be broken in the end?
And that "Happily ever-after" could have never been?

Silly Girl
Your heart was just a toy!
Bought used,
Your one week pride and joy.

Silly Girl
You were just that easy to replace
And It no longer matters,
That those tears fall from your broken face,

Silly Girl
Aren't we all?
Our love just takes us
And leads us to that fall.
We're blinded and confused,
We've been toyed with,
And we've been used.

So Silly Girl
In this world we stand
We don't have much left
So be with me, hand in hand
And don't leave your heart, for that man.
