Waiting

Here I sit Waiting and waiting,
waiting and waiting and waiting
waiting to tell you how I feel,
but never getting the courage.
Every time I think ahead of what to say to you,
but the minute I see your deep blue eyes my mind goes blank.
You think I like you as just a friend,
but what you don't know is I like you more.
When you finally found out cause of my foolish mistake.
You said you liked me that way too.
I thought all my dreams had come true,
but then you say I am to young for you and we live so far away.
So here I sit waiting once more.
A few months later I realized that I'm not going to waste away my life for one guy who's not that special.
So gradually I put my heart back together again.
And here I sit waiting no more.
