What Happened

What happened to the "I Love You"'s,
The kisses, promises, and hugs?
What happened to "It's Only Us Two",
or even just "I miss you"?

What happened to "Forever"?
Forever was to short.
What happened to "Never"?
That never came and hit me.

What happened to it all?
It was all your little game.
And as I begin to fall,
I realize what happened.

You didn't mean anything,
And guess what...
Neither did I,
Your mouth I shut.
