The Passing Days

How slowly the days seem to pass,
Since our love and friendship couldn't last.
There's something missing from my soul,
Something that makes me whole.
Your always on my mind,
But something won't let me leave you behind.
One day I hope you come back to me,
The changes in me you will see.
How greatly has it been changed,
Its been picked to pieces then rearranged.
This pain is to real,
Far to deep to heal.
But I must move on,
So let the thoughts of you be gone!
I need to move past this,
But it is you I will clearly miss!
