Engulfing Walls

Closer and Closer they surround me.

No way out.

No one is able to hear my shouts,
Louder and louder they get.

But still I seem to be trapped within this pit.

Sadness takes me over,
I try to pull myself together.

My sanity seems to be slipping further away.

I know that I must not stay
within this pit of death.

It is now clear,
this is only ONE path.
