In my thoughts,
In my soul.
But most of all.
You are in my heart.
In the morning
My mind wanders
To thoughts of you.
I think of you...
Thinking of how lucky
I am to have someone
As wonderful as you.
My heart is yours...
I used to dream off meeting
Someone like you...
I would long to touch
Another heart with
My mind and soul.
But even with all
That I could imagine,
I could never have realized
What love for you
Could feel like.
Only with you could I
Feel as alive as I do.
You showed me how to love...
I used to long for a companion.
One with whom
I could share my love.
But yet I did not trust
Until I met you.
You showed me that it's ok
To have feelings.
To express them...
And how could I not
Express my love for you,
When I felt it so strongly;
Overwhelming love.
I love you...
I guess I just wanted to say
With this poem I am writing.
That I wouldn't be
Who I am today
Without you...
You changed my world
My heart...
My soul...
You showed me love,
And I gave my heart to you.
I love you so much,
And I hope I always will.
