Mirror, Mirror On The Wall

I look in the mirror...

Eyes of blue
Courageous and brave
Like those of an eagle.

Body of an athlete
Strong and disciplined
Like that of a lion.

Personality of length
Friendly and caring
Like that of a puppy.

Passions of gold
Dreams of yesterday and today
Not comparable to anyone elses.

This girl
Perfect as can be
For herself and no one else.

All she wants
Is for someone
To see her the same way.

We all tend to talk about other ppl and describe other ppl in our poems, but i thought for a nice change i would just talk about how i see myself... you need to do that, have that self-confidence... everyone has something about them that they don't like, that's just self-criticism... you're harder on yourself than on others... but you always have to take a minute to step back and look at yourself in the mirror... and at the end i added a bit of that self-consciousness or want for someone else, but don't be fooled girls... we don't need a man to feel good about ourselves!
