The Insane Mind

by Fern   Jun 16, 2006

Creeping from the dark
A cold grasp of life
As another mind finally slips
Leaving the light behind.

These people don't know
What had happened
As their overworked brains
Slowly cross the line.

The grip on reality no longer exist
In the darkness they hide
There minds refusing to work
Cutting them short on time.

Tormented by inner demons
Blindly living a lie
They cant refuse
The voices in their mind.

So when you see
Yet another person fall
Victim to this disease
That generally takes its toll.

Remember they aren't
Them anymore
Just a shell
A normal brick wall.

Rarely do they reach the light
Coming back to reality
This virus is very strong
And always takes the lead.

So think about your choice
Prejudice if you may
These people have no hold on life
It was all blown away

Whether it was a horrible crime
Or the mind of a Phycopathe
They don't know whats going on
Just that their way has passed.

They live in a comfortable lie
Not the dangerous truth
It keeps them safe inside
Nothing to let loose.

To a dear friend who witnessed a crime and slipped away.Although her body is alive she doesn't respond anymore.I love you Abby!
