Inner Demons

by alex   Jun 16, 2006

What frightens you? Is it a monster underneath your bed? Or is it the images you come up with in your head? Is it a werewolf waiting for you in the dark? A dangerous creature with a bigger bite than bark? Or maybe it's something bigger, something deeper, something darker. Maybe it's the thought of you, who you could be with out restrictions. Or maybe it's the thought of who you would be with out other people's expectations? Maybe it's the worry that someone will discover your secret. The secret of who you really are when you have no limits. When your carrying your inner demons while they eat away at you bit by bit. Or maybe it's the thirst you have to be something other than what you seem. To be the monster in your nightmares and the hero in your dream. But whatever it is, it scares you from serial killers to thunder. And when your alone at night you cant help but wonder, cant i stop it cant i hide it cant i stop it from coming out? But you cant stop it, you cant hide it, you cant stop it from coming out, cause that my dear is what inner demons are all about.
