Real Me, Fake You

by CourtneyLouxxx   Jun 17, 2006

The person you see is the real me no fake
Unlike you, whose smile did break
You choose a life of lies
This put the real you in disguise

Breaking you own heart, by being untrue
To the real beauty beating within you
No real happiness, no chance to believe
The story reflects the lies, used to deceive

No trust in anyone, scared of who to be true
Stop pretending, let them see the real you
I let them see the real me, it was OK can’t you see
It would be better, don’t you agree?

I may not help matters but to who do I lie
I let them see me however, even if I cry
I’m not going to bother, as I feel it wasted
These lines are pointless, this rhyme tasteless!

*unfinished and really bad*
