My hands are shaking, stomach aching

Sick of tears in my eyes
Sick of hiding my cries

Sick of pretending I'm okay
Sick of trying to make this all go away
Father just take my heart out of his hands
And put it back together again

I reached for his hand, reached for his heart
But instead all I came back with was scars
He wants to throw away memories and forget the past
But those memories were what was going to make us last

I thought he was the one,
