What I need

I wrote this poem for the girl i liked at the time. I gave it to her on her(mine also) b-day.Comments would be appreciated please=) nn u

The first moment i laid my eyes on her
it stunned me how beautiful a girl can be
From a gorgeous face to a beautiful body
What made me think she'd ever like me?

So just recently i began talking to her
And do u know what i started to see
Not only was she just beautiful
But she had the most amazing personality

From the moment i talked to her
Every word she'd say was nothing but sweet
Every time i was around her
I felt just so complete

What also surprised me
is that our birthday is on the same day
What are the chances of that
The 25th of May

Doing the Spanish Dance with her
I gotta admit was a whole lot of fun
What were the odds of us ending up as dance partners
It had to be slim to none

After all this i started taking a liking to you
It was just something i couldn't keep away
So i asked you this question
And it was much to my dismay
But hey I'm a respectful person
So its something ill definitely obey

We had so many weird coincidences with each other
I had a feeling it would be too good to be true
I have nothing else to really say but
What can you do?

Although i have to admit
It does break me down a bit knowing we don't share the same feeling
This is why I'm laying on my bed now
Writing this poem, Staring at my ceiling
Cause this is what i like to do
When i feel i need healing

Hopefully in time if things keep up the way they do
We can become great friends, Its all i can really ask for
Maybe in time though it will grow
To Something of even more
Maybe just one day
You'll be the one i adore

But right now though
I have absolutely no problem being your friend
I'll try to always be there for you
Till the very end
