This is my goodbye pt.2

by Rick   Jun 19, 2006

Just waiting around for a ring on the phone and a girl's soft hello
to let me in on the decay
creeping through my veins now
as i turn black as coal
my veins collapse oh
how i should have known she wasn't right for me
no
she should have told me
we weren't meant to be

tragedy
i was never sane
a calamity
yet so mundane
only you and me
i cared not of your fame
insanity
drown my veins
"oh the humanity"
i claimed
my senses are screwed
I'm losing my sight
forging insight
life is going to hell
and if these things keep up i will be too
this current slaughter of events is my form of laughter
and repentance

here we go again my friend
spitting in the face of our fate
erring on the side of recklessness
faulting in the salt of confusion
Ive finally reached my conclusion
I'm fed up with your delusions
this is the last time I'm saying goodbye
this is the last time
the last time
i tell you i love you
so listen well
because the echoes wont hold you like i did

in not a single flicker of a flame nor in the blinking of an eye
this is my goodbye
