You and I

by Kyra   Jun 20, 2006

My entire life I've spent thinking,
I was all alone in this world.
Till one day I saw you winking,
I thought to another girl.

You were the most gorgeous creature,
I swear I'd ever saw.
I love your every feature,
Right down to your wide set jaw.

I wondered if you saw me,
I mean.. did you really care?
Or was this another scheme,
Another stupid dare?

You asked me for my name,
My number if you could.
You assured me this wasn't a game,
I wasn't convinced that I should.

A year almost now,
And things I see more clear.
I still wonder how,
But you've managed to keep me near.

You love me with all your heart,
And I love you with all my soul.
I didn't believe it from the start,
But my love was your only goal.
