As I Lay Here

As I lay here,
Under the bright,
Starry Night,
I think to myself,
Does He Love Me,
The Way I Love Him.
I've asked him before,
But he simply leaves it alone.
I can't stop thinking about him,
He's the only thing on my mind.
I wish I could tell him how i feel,
But when I try,
He turns around to leave.
He breaks my heart one too many times,
But I will always love him.
He makes me happy,
He makes me laugh.
He makes me smile,
He is my addiction.
When I try to talk to him,
He turns around and leaves.
I run after him and tell him not to go.
When our eyes meet it's heaven on earth.
It's hard to look away,
And I can tell it's the same for him.
He asks me why he shouldn't leave,
I tell him it's because he belongs here with me.
He belongs here in my arms,
Here in my heart.
I know he's not always going to be there,
But no matter where he is,
He's always going to be in my heart.
And forever he will stay.
I can't tell him how I feel,
For there are so many words to describe how I feel.
I wish there was more than one word,
Besides amazing that would work.
When we're together,
It's like fireworks on the Fourth of July.
When we're together,
My world seems to disappear,
There's nothing left but him,
Hugging me tight.
When we kiss,
It seems to last a lifetime.
Even if it's only a couple of seconds long.
I love him so much,
That I would die without his love.
He may not be able to walk on water,
Or part the sea,
But he sure can make my heart fly,
To really great heights.
He lets me take risks even her wouldn't take.
If I start to fall,
He's right there by my side,
To catch me.
I like him for so many reasons,
That if I sat down to write them all,
It would take a life time.
If I had never met him when I did,
My life would be nothing but a dull blade.
He talks to me when I need it most.
He listens to me when I have a problem.
I can tell him anything that I can't tell anyone else.
I tell him everything,
I mean everything.
But whey can't I tell him he means everything to me?
