Thank You For Being There

I wake up in the morning
And wonder why I'm alive
When it would be so easy
To just curl up and die

But then I realize
What great friends I have
And how they are
Always there for me

They let me know
That someone cares
And that I will
Never be Alone

So I tell myself I must go on
For them, my family and for me
I know the days ahead
Are filled with pain and sadness

But with the great friends I have
I know I'll never be alone
So I just wanted to say
Thank you for being there
