The picture you painted was just magnificent, the words chosen and the flow of the poem were great, very touching well done

"Wind vainly lifts dead petals up through the air,
My heart pines for a sip from those lips of wine.
An eternity passes in mere seconds;
Emotions and reality entwine."

That stanza is poetic brilliance! It evokes such beautiful imagery and heart wrenching emotions....just wow!
Don't get me wrong, the entire piece is superb, but that stanza really stands out to me.

I'm in agreement with Holly. The whole poem was superb. It flowed well. The imagery was great. And my favorite stanza was the same as Holly's. Absolutely wonderful.
