Slowly Movin On.

I don't frown that much anymore.
My heads been higher up.
I don't think about how things were before.
I'm beginning to cheer up.
You still have a piece of my heart,
but Im not missing it as much.
So go on, Keep it.
I don't need it to stay alive.
Im doing pretty fine
It doesn't hurt that bad,
not being able to call u mine.

So if you were wondering
Im doing alright,
It still hurts
but it hasnt gotten worse.
Im feeling better,
but ill Always remember.
Im slowly moving on,
But the memories aren't gone.

    I like this one, it has a lovely sense of closure and an undertone of pain so, yje title slowly moving on is perfect as this is what the poem embodies. Gr8 poem,

    I love this poem. It is wonderful because it expresses how everyone feels after something terrible happens in a break up or something. Wonderful.
