Take me or leave me

by Ty Jones   Jun 26, 2006

Take me or leave me,
but you best believe me.
My eyes do not deceive me,
what you see is what you get.
Drop it,
it's done.
We had a good run,
my life has now begun,
the rules have just been bent.

I will say it time and time,
I'm not scared to speak my mind.
Glancing from the top of my mountain dew. at least now baby I don't look at you. I said,

Take me or leave me,
but you best believe me.
My eyes do not deceive me,
what you see is what you get.
Drop it,
it's done.
We had a good run,
my life has now begun,
the rules have just been bent.

You never thought I'd have the ability,
to live life with some stability.
You left when I was down,
now I got back up.
Now I'm drinking fine wine,
from a golden cup.
I think it's funny,
now your lookin up to me.
too bad, too sad, babe you took to long to see.

Take me or leave me,
but you best believe me.
My eyes do not deceive me,
what you see is what you get.
Drop it,
it's done.
We had a good run,
my life has now begun,
the rules have just been bent.
