56. Alone Again

by Katie   Jun 27, 2006

She sits one day
On her bathroom floor
Trying to think of something to write
But nothing comes to mind

She won't write depressing
She's done too many of those
She won't write suicidal
That was her style

She thinks about love
And tries to put something down
She writes about her lost love
And how much she loved him

She writes like mad
And when she's done
She puts the last period down
Of her 3 page poem

She sits staring at it
Not knowing what to do
She reads it over
And starts crying softly

As she reads her own words
She remembers everything she loved
And everything she hated
But love over powers hate

She sees him the next day
And tell him she still loves him
She hands him the poem
And then walks away

He reads it in class
And asks if he can leave
He goes for a walk
And stops to read the rest

He realizes what he had
And sees how much she loved him
He goes back to class
And talks to her at lunch

He tells her he still loves her
But he's got to figure out who he is
She shakes her head and say fine
And he realizes he's lost her

As of now, to this very day
They're really good friends
And never got back together
But remained tight for the rest of their days
