Forget

by Dionne Jones   Jun 27, 2006

Perhaps if I keep telling myself,
he isn't worth the tears,
I then just might get on with my life
and live the rest of my years.

maybe if I could just meet,
someday, somebody new,
then maybe I could easily forget,
all my hopes of you.

I will maybe stop the dreams,
that run around inside my head,
it may just stop the tears falling,
when I wake up from my bed.

But I know this is a waste of time,
you, i will never erase,
for you are etched into my heart,
locked inside my special place.
