Take me away
From everything
I don't know why
But I need you

As you pull me away
I can feel my heart race
Is this the moment
That I have been waiting for?

Off to the side
Away from it all
Everybody's dancing
But us.

A kiss on the cheek
And I think I've got you now
Take my hand to your mouth and whisper
Almost hoping for it to respond

Lean into me
Miss my mouth by a mile
Whisper in my ear
I think I'm dying

"You see that girl in the corner?
I know she's your friend...
Do you think you can hook me up with her?
One dance is okay"

I slowly nod
And you grasp my hand
You whisper again:
"You're the best friend I've ever had"

    I loved this poem, it tells it like it is, when people say that being a friend is the most important thing, they never tell you how hard it is to let the one you love, fall in love with your best friend

    Awesome....sometimes it really makes you think.....sometimes you think you have them but then you dont but in the end they are still there
