We talk so long all shyness ends
Who'd have known we'd end up friends
The hallway echos laughs and stares
Whispers tell us everyone cares

But in the end no one ever knows
That friendship is how far it goes
Everybody thinks we're going out

But we both know love causes pain

So we find it best it stays the same
