A Father Like You

by ally   Jun 28, 2006

To my dearest old dad
for whom I have; I am glad.
He is one of the nicest dads in the world!
When we were young, us in the air he twirled
and taught us what we know,
so that one day we can go into the world and it will show.
Of all the gifts you have given me
the best one of all was that of being free.
I will make sure to shine like the brightest star
and that will tell you what a great father you are.
So one day you will look back on the good times we shared
and remind yourself of how much we all cared.
When in doubt you can look up into the sky
and never worry about saying
Good Bye
