It's Crazy How Things Work

She wakes up
Gets online
Wanting to start a new day seeing your name
Perhaps even your face

It's crazy how things work like they do
But every time she hears your name
She smiles
And just can't seem to stop

Bodies such a distance
Yet hearts close together
But here is the question...
Are they really?

Her heart meets yours half way
And won't go forward another inch
She doesn't want to be dependant on you
Yet it feels like it's sinking in

She's not totally sure about your feelings
But she's hoping that they're the same as hers
She trusts you, she really does
But do you trust her?

She asks herself
"How will this work?"
She's not positive it will
But all she can do is hope

You told her you would see her in person one day
And she will wait for that day to come
