To my 8 month old daughter

when times are a struggle
and i have no one to turn too
i think about you

your beautiful blue eyes
your bright red hair
and of course your dimples too

i think of your beautiful smile
that pulls me in
its like a love i never knew
deep down with in

i cant explain the changes
the changes in my life
since you've been here with me
the days that just fly by

the changes in myself
that i never thought I'd see
the changes that's been done
since you've been here with me

but you're the cause of happiness
that i wake up to everyday
the brightness that you fill me with
that will never go away

you deserve the best
so I'll be the best that i can be
and fill you with the happiness
that you have filled in me
