If You Still Love Me

by Ashley Johnson   Jul 3, 2006

I don't know how to live my life now,
All I can do is wait for you,
In these cold, darkened nights,
I'll hold my arms open and true,
Waiting forever to hold you,

Could you ever feel the same way for me,
As I do for you?
The passion within my soul,
Has no control,
And needs to break free,

All I need is a kiss from your lips,
And I'll be in bliss for eternity,
Your gorgeous blue eyes,
And your perfect smile,
Is all that keeps me here,
As well as the feeling of denial,
Of knowing that,
Now my love can never again be fulfilled,
And my heart forever broken upon the guild,

What does it take,
For me to get you to love me,
I have no courage,
To allow the words,
To trespass upon my tongue,
As I believe that the answer I will receive,
Is very different from what I wish,

The happiness I felt,
When I was with you,
Could never be matched,
By any other,
But understand this,
In my closing words,
If you still love me,
Then I will always love you.
