    Oh how sad!

    Yes, it is weird how you get the feeling that you connected to some people who are suffering a lot.
    Your poem was very strong, and managed not to be repetitive in a bad way, because the words were so sad, and carried so much aching emotion in them that I didn't get tired of hearing them, the haunting melody of "within a month or so..."
    I hope that you and this girl both keep strong and brave for whatever lies ahead.

    This is one of the saddest poems I have read in a while. I think you did a good job. I like to read poems like these through the eyes of someone else that is not in the health care field...It's insightful and thought provoking. Excellent job.
