Red, White, and Blue was all we could see
That day stopped us in our tracks
Not seeing what we came to be
There was no way to look back

No one had trust
Everyone stayed away
We all began to rust

Our country was drowned by the tears
People hated others
It felt we all needed to fear
Even if it was our brothers

Red, White, and Blue was there all the way
Through the mist and rain
Stars and Stripes were there that day
Helping us with our pain

The Flag was raised
We all closed our eyes
Some stood in daze
As the Stars and Stripes continue to rise
