The Turn of Night

by Dracula   Jul 4, 2006

My knees collapse
i hit the ground
in shadows so long
I'm now found

drag me forward
my flesh burns
the sun wreaks havoc
as daylight turns

Blood drinker, pure
satans friend
save me now
a demon send

Darkness, my turn
fangs are bared
bleed you dry
no one is spared

Dear lady, come
and walk with me
you smell so sweet
but taste? we'll see

Perfect, pure
and so naive
I'm no man
you'll soon believe

walk away now
lean and tall
a filling meal
but that is all

pretty humans
i don't need
a vampiress
together lead

A bloodstained smile
a broken heart
a bleeding girl
now i depart.

Hey man, nice poem, not as good as ur first, but it's still good. The short lines were the thing that killed it for me, but it's just an opinion. Keep writing dude! ttyl
