Remember Me (a song)

by Briana   Jul 5, 2006

My sincerity only heard from my voice
My passion only felt in my kiss
My soul only viewed through my eyes
My feelings only communicated through silence

And I yearn, to let you know
About these cobwebs that shield me from feeling you
My wish is, that I could speak
These three words that I feel will overflow

So shoot your photographs
And remember me
So wrap yourself in my arms
And remember me

Like a bubbling fountain flowing out
All emotions will soon be set free
And this darkness that wrestles with my mind
Will be stunned by your powerful light

And you'll hear what you've heard from your own heart
And you'll sing the same song back to me
But how will I know that it's not repetition?
And that you're not going through the motions?

So shoot your photographs
And remember me
So wrap yourself in my arms
And remember me

The problem lies with my expression
I can't say I know how to unlock
Because I'm unaware, that you'll truly understand
I feel I'm still hanging on a hope

You've modified my life permanently
Rescued me from all destruction
And even if it ceases, and it's all just a dream
I'm asking you to remember me

So shoot your photographs
And remember me
So wrap yourself in my arms
And remember me

And not just the bliss that we've shared
Not just the warm radiation we felt
Not only the beautiful days
But the fact that my love for you, will never fade away

And though the things in the past are worth the looking back
I'd like you to realize my love lasts
And the longing I've had, won't dimmer but glow
And the connection we've built, will grow

So shoot your photographs
And remember me
So wrap yourself in my arms
And remember me
