Confused

by Samantha Parsons   Jul 8, 2006

So many feelings
running through my head.
I don't know what to do
as I lie on your bed.

I was always taught
to like the opposite of you.
So far you've been the only
person to change my view.

Never found a person
whom I cried over so much.
I love the way you hold me
with such a gentle touch.

I'm so confused...

We were the best of friends.
Our relationship was strong.
My insides started to feel different,
and because of this, I felt so wrong.

I started throwing
a lot of hints that day.
And for some reason, I thought
you were throwing them back my way.

We decided to tell each other
the one person we really liked.

You chose to go first,
and unfortunately it was a person close to me.

So when i finally said that little word Y-O-U,
you were speechless.

You haven't talked to me since.

I regret saying that one little word.

I just wish we could at least be the same old friends.

Guess I'll never know,
how it feels to be loved by you.

And still through all of that,
once again...I Am Confused...
