Why does he play me?

He knows that I still like him,
Yet he continues to hurt me so,
He told me he had feelings for me
Yet he still refuses to show.

I’m sick of all the jealousy
When he mentions another girl’s name
I feel he’s just another player
Cheating me through this game.

I try not to show my feelings
I hold deep within
But it feels I’m always losing
Every time I see him.

My heart has been through a battle
But this none other than before
He may be winning the battle
But I’m gonna win the war!
