The word love

by Angela   Feb 27, 2004

Getting those butterflies, your knees getting weak, your heart seems to have skipped a beat, your palms are all sweaty, your mouth becomes dry, you try to prepare yourself for this wild ride
You look around but all you see is him
The everyday world just fades away from this
You think all my life, where has he been?
Life used to be dull, I remember when
And then you realize oh my, this must be love
For God must have sent him from up above
To love and hold me all through the night
To whisper sweet nothings and tell me everything is alright
And then a tear falls but not a tear of sadness
But rather a tear of joy and total bliss
You are scared that maybe this is wrong
And you fear that any moment it will be gone
That it is all too good to be true
How could anything this wonderful happen to you?
But then you look into your lover's eyes
And all your cares disappear and you don't know why
For now you are just going to hold on tight
Because this love feels right
