Deserving better

by Heather   Jul 10, 2006

I see the way he treats you.
But you don't seem to care.
He gives you rules and regulations.
He tells you what to do, and what to wear.
I want to help you, I really do.
This is not right.
You let him treat you this way.
Every day and night.
You say you love him.
You tell me he loves you.
But if he really loved you, then he wouldn't treat you this way.
You tell me how you hate it.
You wish it just would end.
I'm the only one who knows this,
because I am your friend.
I want to help you.
I really do, I care so much.
But I can't help you, until you help yourself.
