Love at first sight

by Victoria   Jul 11, 2006

The definition love at first sight
Never applied to me
Until the time I saw you that night
And I knew that we were meant to be

Now dont think I'm shallow
It was not just your looks
Generally I'm attracted to finer things
Like Wit, Intelligence, or books

But it was something about you
I could see it in your eyes
They looked so open and true
Like they would never tell me lies

You're eyes seemed to smile
As you shyly looked my way
And I knew in that short while
That luckily you weren't gay

As we started to talk
My knees started to shake
I felt nervous and clumsy
Like there was an earthquake

You put your arms around me
And asked me under the moonlight
"I know this sounds silly,
But do you believe in love at first sight?"
