Accross the land

by ~passion~   Jul 12, 2006

The image of you brings a smile to my face
The long stairs across the room are all worth while and I cannot erase
Touching you is the softest feeling imaginable when you’re close to me
When the sunshine reaches your eyes it reminds me of the spring
When you whisper in me ear it is gentle and sweet
The messages between us lift me off me feet
Spending time and passionate love that warms my soul
Always remembering the many winters that I spent feeling so cold
Tapping my shoulder hoping not to awaken
Lying closer to one another to listen to every heartbeat and breath we have taken
Holding hands down the street to our own secret places
Taking time out of the day even if not a special occasion
The little things that most miss and don’t take the time to understand
Is the reason why I love all across the land.
