Sky Dance

by RetroRavey   Jul 12, 2006

The moonlight shivers upon the ground,
And stars tremble,
In hollow existence.
The planets waltz,
In pairs of two,
And I sit and watch.
The clouds now come to play,
Covering the floor...
But the dance doesn't cease,
Not even for a moment.
The comets race,
As their tails trail behind.
And though they have no start
Or finish,
They race with all their hearts.
Then the dance finally halts,
When the sun's first rays of morning light,
Peer over mountain tops.
