I walked slowly,
my bare feet, brushing on the cold green grass.
I stepped slowly,
smelling the aroma's, of fresh flowers and fruits.
I breathed loudly, my heart beating inside me as fast as a cheater.
I kneel down slowly, onto the grass,
in front of a rose bush, the petals felt soft, moist and they reminded me of lost love.
Lost love that I once had, lost love that will never come back.
I got back up from the cold, moist grass, and walked even slower over to a vine. A vine that my lost husband had once loved and cared as if it was a child.
Lost love, the love I once had. The love that will never come back.
