Why?

I knew you were to good to be true
i waited so long to hear from you,i should know by now not to let others in.but i let my guard down now im empty within.i wanted so bad for you to be the one,you wrote such beautiful poems but it all turned out to be lies.you acted like you could love me,you just made me cry.as i sit here and wounder what i did wrong i realize you were so fake all along.
