The soul of a lonely girl

by Libby M   Jul 19, 2006

Without a word I am put to death

Life I thought I had is long gone

I am no longer who I was

Without you now I am but a broken soul

No one can see, no one has heard of this lie

I never thought I can walk away like I did

I never thought I would say goodbye for real,

But you said, you are gone, you are in love with only memories

So why tell me that I chose to go?

Why not stand up for what youve done, you have broken me

You didnt even try to repair me,

You went on and on and on without ever looking back

Looking back at me

So, I am moving on, not ever wondering

Though I still I visit you in your world

I watch, I listen and there is nothing of me

Left inside of you

Youve taken me far away

I am living a life that holds many of nothings,

Your right, we are but empty promises

You failed me once, twice and oh so much more

But I loved you still and forgave you still because you

Were my once in a lifetime.

I tried to come back to you,

I tried to forget the coldness that sore through

Through this body, through this soul, through the heart

That its pieces I am still searching to collect

I am broken, and nothing will ever make me whole again

I see you still remember me

I think this was about me

In case it wasnt, know that I hoped it was

For it would have meant you still REMEMBER ME.

I Loved that part... and the whole thing. I know love...and it really touched me. There's nothing really to say but great job. Excellently done. 5.5
