Death

by Ash Kat08   Jul 21, 2006

Dark shadows in the night
An owl on a long flight

Hiding in the bushes and trees
On nothing but your knees

Loneliness fills the air
But no one within miles to care

All alone that day in June
Hoping someone will find you soon

Are they coming or is it too late
Has it past your expiration date?

Are you considered dead now
They have to find you, but how?

Running though the fields
Jumping over wagon wheels

Someone is there
But all they do is stop and stare

What is this inhuman sight
Looks like a person running through the night

Should I shoot it or let it go free
Some things are just meant to be

BANG!
